At the heart of our work is the QueerFrames Screenwriting Lab, a flagship initiative nurturing queer talent behind the camera.
The Lab supports emerging queer writers and writer-directors from South and Southeast Asia and their diasporas with mentorship, creative resources, and industry access, enabling them to develop culturally resonant work and build sustainable careers.

Investing in queer talent
Since 2023, QueerFrames has supported 22 writer-directors across South Asia and its diaspora, building a strong foundation for emerging queer voices.
Crafting new stories
Through its Short Film Fund, QueerFrames backed Makeup Room, developed within the 2023 cohort from inception.
Supporting advanced development
From the 2025 cohort, two features—Stacy’s Mom and Kooker Ki Seeti (The Whistle)—are advancing with expert mentorship and market-facing support.
Expanding global access & networks
A QueerFrames-led delegation to the 2025 European Film Market connected fellows with international industry platforms and opportunities. Alumni have since progressed to leading labs and festivals, including TorinoFilmLab (Green Narratives), Genre Film Lab, BFI Flare, Frameline, and Iris Prize.

01Research

02Plan
As construction nears completion, Casa reviews the details to ensure everything aligns with our design vision. We then install furnishings and finishes—bringing your dream space to life.
03Design
In this creative phase, Casa Interiors develops floor plans, layouts, custom furnishings, and material suggestions. We present finishes, millwork details, and 3D visuals—collaborating closely to finalize every selection.
04Realize
As construction nears completion, Casa conducts a final walkthrough with you to ensure every detail aligns with our design vision. We then install furnishings and finishing touches, transforming the space into your dream home.
